THE IMPACT OF TECHNOLOGY
Humanity has witnessed changes in technology that have helped with
everyday life and made it easier to deal with things.
In my opinion the most important changes in technology have been TV, smartphones, and computers; on this essay I’d like to explain the positive and negative impacts of this gadgets in my life.
First of all, T.V allow us to watch different channels about a lot
of countries, cultures, and different kinds of food. T.V also has helped me
improve my English because I can watch shows and series with subtitles.
On the bad side I can say that watching T.V has become in
unnecessary need because I don’t eat at the dinning table anymore, I prefer
eating while I watch T.V. Watching T.V has also made me waste my time when I
have more important things to do.
The second gadget has had an impact in my life is the computer. Computers have helped me to do my homework, chat with new people, and learn more about my general interests like: psychology, medicine, yoga, books, music and more.

On the other hand computers are also a distraction because of the
social networks, the games, videos, etc.
I also think that computers have made it way too easy for humans, for
example people don’t like libraries anymore, they never go out because they
prefer to stay home in front of the computer.
The last gadget I consider to be important is the smartphone because reunites some advantages of T.V and the computer because I can browse the internet, char with friends, meet new people, listen to music, learn new things, etc. I also thing that phones with cameras are more useful because with just the phone you can do many things.
I consider that smartphones have distanced us from each other because the people don’t feel so close anymore, they never call you, instead they just send a message or use whatSapp, and I think that smartphones have turned relationships more impersonal.
People has also become rude because when they talk to you they don’t look at you to your face they are just looking at their phones, they also walk around like zombies because they are walking and chatting at the same time.
To conclude I think that technology has two sides, a good one and a
bad one, it depends on how you decide to use it.
