Relationships and Technology
In my opinion. Technology
is giving its part in both points, as bad things and good things. We just can’t
say that technology is bad because it is giving a lot of really good things.
Some of the good things:
We have the possibility to stay connected and to find people where ever they
are. We don’t need to spend a lot of money in calls and videos to talk with our
family in other country.
But, the problem is
that the human kind takes things and makes something bad with these, the main
idea of technology is to help humanity to solve a specific problem or to
satisfy a need. Technology has not been thought to have fun. Fun is something
that born in consequence of technology.
For example. The
automobile were designed to solve the transportation problem, but not to run
illegal races on the cities’ streets.
And, that kind of
things are the reason of why some people think that technology is bad for the
relationships of the human kind. If in a friend meeting all of guys are looking
and doing something in their cell phones. There is a problem. If my children
are more interested in their laptop and they don’t care about their families. There
is a problem. But, if in my enterprise, I’m looking for a solution using
technology. If my workers are searching some interesting experiments to try
improving their results in the company. There is not a problem because we are
finding in technology the help that we need, and that is the reason of
technology.
In conclusion and in
my opinion. Technology is here in a lot of cases to help human kind, but
depends of us if we use that to do good or bad things, so as all the things of
our life, that is our decision.
