HOW DOES TECHNOLOGY AFFECT OUR RELATIONSHIPS?
I want to speak about internet addiction. I´ve
just know there are a lot of researches and studies about this topic but I want
to give my point of view about this problem.
Currently internet is like a drug; in fact it is yanking us away from
the physical reality and we don´t feel the effect. First of all, people say
internet let close people, in fact one of the most important think of the
internet facilities is distance doesn´t exist but this situation have had a different mean among the
people because they prefer talk with each other through their devices and relationships
result affected by this situation. Is true than we can create relationships
through internet using social networks like facebook or twitter but it is a
virtual relationship, so the worst thing is we are losing our interactions with
people in the physical world.
For example, most of people in this moment prefer a dialogue through
their devices, because in many cases they feel safer about they said, people
think that electronic devises soften the relationships.
Internet and electronic devises create fake relationships because people
usually lie through them, for example it is so easy to say a lie in a chatting
because the other person in many cases doesn´t see the other one, and it is
possible to have several relationships on internet or through our devices, in
fact is hard to know how many people have someone like contacts.
Internet and electronic devises are excellent to send information but
they aren´t so good to send feelings, because of internet and devises aren´t
the best way to fix problems or to deal with personal situations, the best way
is face to face.
Finally internet has separated our friends and families because we want
to speak only through internet even if we are remaining in the same place or in
the same house. It is necessary to get back to our face to face relationships
where we can use the dialogue to interact with the other.
The Internet is an amazing tool. But we need give it a
special use taking care about our behavior on it.
